Personally, I loved Bun B's verses WAAAAAAY more than Pimp C. He just seemed so much more clean and crisp in his delivery and his voice was better.....but the problem with being a solo act is that you have to find 70 min worth of words that do that, not 30. Not only that but a group can be redundant and talk about the same topic because the lyrics, POV and the voice are different.
Funny enough i got UGK's 'Ridin Dirty' back in high school and never paid attention to it. Then i was diggin UGK on Po-pimpin ( bun B, of course ) then i was REALLY feelin UGK on E-40's 'She say she loves me' ( Bun B just makes even e40, which is up there with Nas & Luda in my eyes, sound like boo boo on this track. I mean it actually sounds like he's performing for someone specific and E40 and Pimp C are just 'mailing in' the performances )
