The 2008 Ohio Hip-Hop Awards will feature the first public appearance of all 5 members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in over 8 years. The third annual ceremony, taking place this Saturday, September 20, at the
Cleveland Convention Center Music Hall, will bestow the Lifetime
Achievement Award on the group, who recently reunited after
Flesh-N-Bone was released from prison. He served almost ten years
behind bars. The group is also said to be working on new material that should see the light of day early next year, 2009.
Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Webbie, was arrested after a high speed chase that ended with him being charged with one count of felony eluding, one
count of driving under the influence, and a misdemeanor count of
possession of marijuana. According to reports, police officers had tried to stop the rapper's 2009 Dodge Challenger for a traffic violation. The rapper ignored police lights and continued driving recklessly, until he exited off of the freeway. He wound up crashing into another vehicle and police had to stop the pursuit to assist the injured in that vehicle. The Challenger was later found in a Wal-Mart parking lot and witnesses said they saw the occupants of that vehicle get into a Crown Victoria. Police found them and they were all arrested. The other passengers in the Crown Victoria were questioned and later released.
