The rapper, who's sophomore effort, Trilla, is set to hit stores on February 19th, say that he's been simultaneously working on an album and a movie with the New Orleans mogul.
"Me and Birdman are working on an album and a movie at the same time," Ross tells HipHopDX .
"We just feed the streets. Me being a fan of the hustle - the grind, [Birdman and I] have the same attitude and hunger coming from streets. He feels the same about me, you already know. We just went in the studio for the hood." He continued.
Ross recently released the remix to the lead single off Trilla, "Speedin." You can check it out here.
In related news, Dj Drama has guaranteed fans of Lil Wayne some new music from the self proclaimed "rapper eater" in the form of Dedicatn 3.

The mixtape which many thought would never see the light of day due to tension between the Gangsta Grillz pioneer and the New Orleans rapper, will be released some time this year.
" We started working on it. It’s gonna be phenomenal because I told Wayne if we do it, it really has to be something special because when we did Dedication and Dedication 2, there wasn’t a new Wayne mixtape every week. The thing about Dedications that was so great to me was the direction and the sound. It doesn’t just sound like a lot of rapping, they sound like albums. And that’s because of him and me. Me and Jeezy are also coming out this year." Said Drama in a recent interview with Rhapsody.
