Big Boi Preps Solo Album, Sir Luscious Left Foot
by on December 10th, 2007
Outkast Atlien Big Boi has been rather busy lately. From collecting awards for his multi-platinum, revolutionary work with running mate Andre 3000 to heading his Big Kidz Foundation, a non-profit organization geared towards the intellectual development of kids--the Grammy award winner has also been in the studio putting work on his oddly titled forthcoming solo effort, Sir Luscious Left Foot.
"I'm going to put 12 songs on there, I'm finished with like nine right now." Big Boi tells Vibe Magazine.
"Production is by Organized Noize. Speakerboxx was my first solo album, so just imagine what this is going to sound like. I'm very excited about it, and we just putting it together right now." He continued.
Though 2003's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below was a packaged release counting as a double album for Outkast, Big Boi says this time around he'll be debuting on the charts completely solo.
"This time we're going to go for what we know. We're going to give it to [fans] separate. I'm going to do mine, Dre's going to do his, then we're going to put the Outkast record out after that."

Fans can expect the first official single off the Sir Luscious Left Foot LP to hit the airwaves on December 31st.
"I plan on releasing a single on December 31 at midnight going into the New Year, cause I want all the stuff to be '08, everything to be brand new. It's going to be a lot of surprises. We just really trying to bring that [good] music back."

1life you only have 1 LIFE quit wastin it with queer comments
Dude laughed at me because I listed JaRule’s name for ’08…
I still like Ja… I still bang Pain Is Love…shit’s hott.
Yall saying his career is ova’ and that yall couldn’t listen to Ja anymore (after 50)…
The irony in all of that is that in all actuality yall listen to Ja EVERYDAY!
What do u think 50 cent is?
What do u think Lil Wayne singin’ on hooks is?
Shit any rapper that’s crooned over an R&B track…
Sung a hook…
Or that’s done some “soft” tracks…. has only simply done what JARULE made millions off of doing!
Just a lil’ food for thought… get cha’ eat on!
