Duck Down Records announced today that Cypress Hill frontman B-Real has signed on to the historic label. B-Real will be releasing his first ever solo album, entitled "Smoke N' Mirrors", on January 27th, 2009 via the label.
"Smoke N' Mirrors" will feature guest appearances from the likes of Snoop Dogg, fellow Cypress Hill member Sen Dog, Buckshot, Sean Price and Damian Marley, while production will be handled by rap vets DJ Quik, Fredwreck, Scoop DeVille and B-Real himself.
"Adding another living legend in B-Real to our roster is really giving Duck Down a "dream team" line-up for independent hip-hop," Dru Ha, Duck Down CEO, says. "Buckshot and I have been strategic with our label partnerships mixing the right blend of emerging artists with proven veterans."

I'm looking forward to this. I have been a fan of Buckshot and Duck Down Records for years. And Cypress Hill is one of my favorite groups from the west. For some reason this sounds right. Smoke N Mirrors.
