In a recent interview with RollingStone Magazine, Andre reveals some details regarding his forthcoming solo effort due out early next year and to the surprise of many, admits he was never big on collaborations.
"I’ve pretty much been working with myself,” he tells the mag. “I’ve never really been that big on collaboration.”
“It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year," he continues.
In other news…
“I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there.”
For fans of the rapper who can't get enough, Andre will be appearing on a new flick called Battle In Seattle, a film about the protests surrounding the 1999 World Trade Organization summit opening this Friday.

Lyrically and stylistically, I've ALWAYS felt Big Boi more, and most of the masses... I have wondered oft, where this fascination with 3 stacks came from... Probably from when Em listed his fave emcees a couple years ago...
The album will be a classic if it is mostly just him. Hes one of greatest rappers of all time and I respect him more for sayin hes not big on collaborations. The quality and product is always better with less features

I've been listening to 3000 since Southernplayalisticadillakmuzik back in 94'. Andre has changed a lot in his music, and keeps getting better. So, I expect nothing less from him.
