After taking his lumps in the BillBoard charts this past year, G-unit CEO 50 cent, Randall Emmet of Emmet Furla Films, and Chris Lighty announced the launch of a new film production company during a press conference at the'House of Hype' at Sundance Film Festival.
50 and Randall are familliar with each other from earlier projects such as, Home of the Brave and Right to Kill.
According to Hollywoodscoop.com 50, Emmet, and Lighty plan to creat films of all genre's.
Durring an interview with Hollyscoop, 50 admitted that he was a movie buff and had over 3,000 DVD's in his homoe movie theatre.
When asked about this new venture he said that most of his energy would be going into making it work, but did not reveal his future as a rapper.

He merely capitalized on the mainstream sucesses of his first album under em and dre, while enjoying the trickle down fanbase that they held. His follow up 's were critically weaker albums, yet they remained successful in sales. When corporate america realized they had a cash cow, they milked his shit to death until he became a commercial, franchise thug. He is no where near the economic status of artist like Jay-z, who is a businessman in the sense that he holds sizable stock in public companies that deal outsideof hip hop.
