50 Cent Wins Visitation Rights
New York rapper 50 Cent has won the rights to visit his 11-year-old son, Marquise, after the child's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, filed a restraining order against the rapper as a result of someone setting fire in May to the Dix Hills mansion where Tompkins and her son were living.
According to the ruling, Fif will get to see Marquise every other weekend until an Oct. 22 custody trial.
Tompkins, agreed to drop off the boy every other Friday night at a police precinct in Queens, where Fif's mom or driver will pick him up, reports the New York Daily News.
Tompkins won an order of protection against the rapper and has accused Fif of ordering the arson blaze in retaliation for a lawsuit she filed demanding half of his $100 million fortune.
Fif denied the charge and slapped her with a defamation suit.
Lil Wayne Shows Up For Court
In other news, after missing a court appearance because of dental problems - - New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne showed up for his weapons possessions case today at a New York City court.
Wayne faces up to three and a half years in prison if convicted of the charges after police arrested the rapper for criminal possession of a weapon — a .40 caliber pistol- - during his first major show in New York City.
