According to the reports, the fast-food chain reportedly filed a counter suit against a $4 million federal lawsuit Fif filed this past July. The suit accused Taco Bell of using his name to sell tacos after the rapper declined their offer to change his name to 79, 89, or 99 cents as part of their promotion.
The reporter who originally broke the news claims lawyers for the fast-food chain are allegedly trying to use Fif's not-so-friendly image against him in court citing he is a "former drug dealer and hustler."
“Jackson has used his colorful past to cultivate a public image of belligerence and arrogance and has a well-publicized track record of making threats, starting feuds and filing lawsuits,” Taco Bell lawyer Robert Lehrburger wrote in the filings.
“At the same time, Jackson holds himself out as a giver to charity and one who wants to give back to his community. This lawsuit is another of Jackson’s attempts to burnish his gangsta rapper persona by distorting beyond all recognition a bona fide, good faith offer that Taco Bell made to Jackson.”

Fif's lawyer, Peter Raymond, says however that the reporter incorrectly determined that the chain had filed a counter lawsuit and simply chose to defame his character in court filings.
Raymond says that after being contacted by a reporter regarding the case, he pointed him to court documents including Taco Bell's response. He said that the reporter incorrectly determined that the chain had filed a countersuit, which led to fresh firestorm of publicity.
"They chose to kind of defame his character," Mr. Raymond said. "And yet they used his name without his permission in the advertising. I'm curious as to why they'd want to say what a bad character he is. I guess that's going to be their defense somehow."
Taco Bell lawyers declined to comment on the legal proceedings.

First off dude needs to get off Murder Inc dick...or at least what's left of it since Shady/Aftermath deaded that entire organization. Tha Inc fell off, period.
Secondly, 50 Cent has made himself one of the most oversaturated artists in the game. I'll be the first to tell you that Get Rich Or Die Tryin was straight fire, nobody could fuck with it at the time it was released. The Massacre was lackluster. It had a few hot tracks, but nothing real special. All of 50's music sounds the same since Disco Inferno. I Get Money was a lil bit of a change cause of the sample but lyrics is always the same shit with 50 since Disco Inferno "I got money, I tear the club up, I pack the dance floor, I dont give a fuck" with the occasional reference to guns to attempt to sustain credibility. What happend is 50 Cent came up right quick, got money and has nothing left to rap about as far as being hungry. It's hard to rap like a starving artist when you makin money like that, which is why he been doin movies I think. Just cause it's sumthin new, and he sees people are tired of the same rhymes over different beats. Similar story with Eminem, since he stopped having Dre produce for him his shit is all the same...silly songs about nothing with a few REAL tracks thrown in. If it wasn't for Like Toy Soldiers, Yellow Brick Road, and Never Enough, Encore woulda been thrown in my trash can. I think Eminem's new album will be fire cause he been thru so much bullshit since the last album that he has shit to rap about that he can make people relate to unlike 50 cause everyone aint a millionaire so aint too many people tryna relate to that shit. This is my breakdown for what anticipation hype should be for these albums:
1. Eminem (Lyrics in the game are gonna have to step up with this album coming out, and production as well if all the big producers are on this project)
2. Dr. Dre (If this album EVER fuckin comes out then it's gonna be classic Dre, which sells and gets spins because he dont oversaturate every two years with garbage music...but this album is still a myth as far as Im concerned)
3. 50 Cent (If he can by some miracle get back the energy he had with Get Rich Or Die Tryin or even somewhat with The Massacre then I'll be pleasantly surprised...and I'll bump it no problem. If it sounds like Curtis I'm lighting that shit on fire and watching it burn)
No matter what '09 is Shady/Aftermath territory just for the fact that the Eminem album is so anticipated.
