Court papers say DJ Zxulu positioned his fingers in the Star Trek salute and said, “Greetings, my Vulcan brother,” when he then was assaulted and had his cellphone stolen. A song dissing him and Washington, D.C. was consequentially released.
The firm, National Fire, says 50 took well over a year to report the incident voiding his insurance coverage.
