What makes everyone like this particular white boy…..if anything his production is ill, and he has a good beat slection on his mixtapes, but he’s not tthat good at all……jus my opinion
i was just about to ask the exact same question. same goes for Asher, i just dont hear anything good about either of their music
This is the wrong Mac to be bumping. It’s all about Mac Lethal. Dude is dope as hell.
I agree his beat selection is dope and thats it he kinda weak. Asher on the other raps better than 90% of rappers out. Asher jus boring as fuck because his beat selection sucks and he doesnt talk about anything interesting.
He aint gon make no noise!….. Also wiz gon be back on the underground b4 we know it.
Keep Dreamin Dude sold out and is running with hit.
if you sayin hes gonna fall off and lose attention i doubt it. dudes chillin wit Snoop and Juicy J and Curren$y, as long hes cool wit them they gonna give him features and shit. he may not get the attention he is now later on, like whats happened wit B.o.B and Drake, but i think hes solidified his place in hip hop
A rolling stone is worth two in the bush, thnkas to this article.
So much info in so few words. Tolsoty could learn a lot.
You’re all a bunch of hypocritical racists pushing a double standard. Why is it that when a white dude like Asher Roth or Mac Miller come on the scene doing their thing, you immediately call their music shit or their style played out? I never see the same said of the two dozen or more BLACK artists that are pumped out by label factory lines like the fuckin Model T in 1900.
“What makes everyone like this particular white boy” – fuck does that even mean fool? What makes you or any other chump like Wiz? Or Gucci? Or Waka? How about Ross? None of those cats can spit worthwhile lyrics yet they get mad air time and publicity. It’s okay when a black dude has fuck-all lyrical ability and content so long as he has a sick beat behind him, but when a white dude like Mac (who is a decent writer) does it, it’s “he played out” or he’s “overrated”.
Mac and Asher do their own thing regardless of the hate, just like all the other black artists you aren’t fuckin scrutinizing for the color of their skin. Not every artist needs to do the same thing.
If you don’t like Mac’s music, that’s fine, but his skin color is fuckin irrelevant. If you’re so insecure about a white dude spittin bars that’s something you need to deal with on a personal level, but you better learn to accept that there are white artists doing their own thing and they aren’t gonna stop.
u seem insecure
A few years ago I’d have to pay someone for this inofrmtaoin.
calm down, im white and i think they suck balls
Boy that rellay helps me the heck out.
shitty rapper. shitty song.
Mac Miller is my shit, he aint in my top 10 but i still love to listen to his music.
He reminds me of the dude a some years back named “White Boy”. Not sure if any of you are familiar with who I’m talking about. But anyhow Mac Miller’s flow is unique and the beat choice does help it out a lot. I can’t listen to some of his tracks but there are a few that I can dig…
Shit, if your having a down and out day, YouTube Mac Miller-Best Day Ever, this and that new Joe Budden-Ayo picks my spirits right up. Tru Story!
In case you were wondering who the hell I was talking bout when I mentioned “White Boy”.
Here’s a biography on him, http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/white_boy_2_/artist.jhtml
I bought his album, it was a unique style and a awesome flow that I thought was dope at the time. Still listen to the album occasionally.
Hit song (White Boy-Can’t Get Out The Game)
Wonder what happened to him, his album No Gray Area didn’t get much buzz, is he still around?
Yeah he’s still around, was gone for a minute, recently just came back and started releasing new music.
Please teach the rest of these internet hooligans how to write and rseaerch!
This ain’t bad, it’s not great either. It’s better than all that club shit out right now. I respect this dude tho. He obviously didn’t blow up right away, and he needs work lyrically, but who knows he might be a star some day.
Hey, that\’s a cvleer way of thinking about it.
