Lil Wayne is no stranger to lawsuits, but he’s usually on the opposing end, so this time will be a little different as he has filed suit against Quincy Jones III over The Carter documentary.

As reported by TMZ, Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against Quincy Jones III, alleging that he never gave permission to use his music in the documentary about him.

Songs that Wayne alleges were used without permission include Carter III tracks, “Lollipop,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” “Pussy Monster,” “Let the Beat Build,” “La La,” “Mr. Carter,” “A Milli,” and “Dontgetit.”

Although, Lil Wayne filed suit, he did give permission to film the documentary, because he allowed cameras to follow him around.

In the suit filed, Lil Wayne is seeking retribution for unspecified damages and an order prohibiting the producers from using his music.
