Chicago rapper Lil Reese, who is signed to Def Jam, and affiliated with Chief Keef’s GBE imprint, was arrested early Sunday morning on a warrant stemming from multiple charges.

As reported by the ChicagoSunTimes, Lil Reese was caught sleeping in a car early Sunday and arrested on a warrant that was issued Thursday out of Champaign County, Il.

According to Cook County court documents, Reese was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday after an officer saw him sleeping in his vehicle.

As the SunTimes reports, according to the Champaign County Circuit Clerk’s website and Cook County court documents, the arrest warrant issued was connected to charges of criminal trespass to a residence with persons present, mob action and battery that allegedly took place in February 2012.

Lil Reese is currently being held on $100,000 bail.

According to the ChicagoSunTimes, Lil Reese’s arrest stems from a video that was posted to YouTube last October of Reese assaulting a young woman.

The video, which is about a minute long, shows Reese entering a residence and arguing with an unidentified woman, then proceeding to assault her.

Soon after the video hit the net last year, and Reese felt the backlash, he took to Twitter and apologized for the attack.

At the time, Reese tweeted:

Everybdy makes mistakes I was out of charcter & ive grown sense then Dont judge me for my past i can admit my wrongs and I apologize.#3hunna

As noted yesterday, Lil Reese was being held on $100,000 bail,  has since been released on bond, and is awaiting his court date.
