Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, member of 90’s rap duo Kris Kross, has died in his Atlanta home at the age of 34.
As reported to the AP, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Kelly was found unconscious at his home, and was pronounced dead at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center around 5:00 p.m.
His cause of death is yet to be determined.
Back in February of this year, Kris Kross reunited for the So So Def’s 20 year anniversary concert.

Update: Details around the death of Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly emerge.
According to TMZ, Kelly’s mother, Donna Kelly Pratte, and his uncle told police that her son had a history of drug use and that he had taken “speedballs,” which is a mix of heroin and cocaine the night before his death.
The police report states that Kelly’s mom said that she had taken him home to recover from his Tuesday night of partying, but that Kelly had been complaining of feeling nauseous all morning before he eventually went unconscious late Wednesday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the Fulton County police gave a statement on Kelly’s death possibly being an overdose.
The spokeswoman said:
It appears it may have been a possible drug overdose
Kelly’s autopsy was scheduled for this morning. We will keep updated when the cause of death is revealed.

TMZ has obtained the 911 call placed, presumably his mother, moments after Kris Kross rapper Chris Kelly was found not breathing on Wednesday in his Georgia home.
