As you should know by now, Kanye West’s sixth studio album, Yeezus, is slated for a June 18th release. Now, rumors are starting to surface that Kanye will also drop the third colorway of his signature, Air Yeezy 2, sneaker, on the same day as Yeezus.

When Kanye West appeared on SNL earlier this month, he debuted new music as well as an all red pair of his Air Yeezy 2 sneaker, which was followed with photo renderings of the shoe across the net that led to the speculation that the “All Red” Yeezy 2 would be releasing soon.

According to various reports, we get confirmation, but no word from Nike or Kanye, that the release date of the third colorway of the Yeezy 2 will coincide with the release of Yeezus on June 18th.

As shown in the above photo, the shoes will be limited to 1000 pair with a release date of June 18th.

The Nike Air Yeezy 2 is fully decked out in red with a red glow in the dark sole, and will retail for $245.

I also added an rendering of the shoe, so you can get a better look, of what the final product may look like:

I wouldn’t be surprised if some hypebeasts are already in line at their local sneaker shop with hopes of copping one of these very limited sneakers.

Sidenote: I’ve also heard rumors going around, that Kanye will place tickets inside specific cases of Yeezus for fans to win a free pair of “All Red” Air Yeezy 2’s.

Stay tuned to DS as we will keep you updated when the release date for the “All Red” Yeezy 2 is confirmed.

Update: Responding to reports of a June 18th release date for the Yeezy 2 sneaker, a PR rep for Nike denies the claims.

Nike PR Director Heidi Burgett took to Twitter and put an end to the speculation that the Air Yeezy 2 release would coincide with the release of Kanye West’s sixth studio album, Yeezus, on June 18th. Although the “All-Red” Yeezy’s 2’s will not be releasing next month, she did confirm the third colorway of the shoe for a late 2013 release.
