Joe Budden opens up about his struggle with the drug Molly, and wants to warn others about the danger of the drug.

During a recent interview with Fox 5 NY, Slaughterhouse rapper Joe Budden spoke up to warn others about the dangers of the popular drug Molly that he binged on last summer, and almost destroyed his life.

Budden explains:

I didn’t see a problem with the fact that maybe five days would go by without sleeping. I didn’t see a problem with the fact that maybe I was hallucinating at times. I didn’t see a problem with the fact that I just couldn’t get up and walk sometimes.

He adds:

It just altered your thinking process dramatically and for a thinker like myself that was like nothing I’d ever experienced before.

Budden explains why he is now speaking out against the drug:

I thought it was important for somebody, anybody to stand up and say, ‘you know, I did that, it’s corny. I’m just hoping that at the end of the day, it won’t be me versus the entire music industry when it comes to who a 13-year-old should listen to regarding drugs

Joe Budden is currently starring in season 3 of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop NY, and he also released his new album No Love Lost earlier this week; the album is available in stores across the country.
