Jay-Z can now add yet another item to his already extensive list of achievements. The New York rappers’ inaugural book has landed him on top of this weeks’ best sellers charts.

Decoded, which is “billed as a a collection of lyrics and their meanings that together tell the story of a culture,” has landed at #3 on the New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Sellers list, #10 on Amazon.com’s Best Sellers List, and at #18 on USA Todays top 150 (all genres).

George Bush’s presidential memoirs, Decision Points, which discusses his Christianity and the end of his drinking; his relationships with members of his family; and his decisions on 9/11, Iraq and Katrina, retained its #1 spot on The New York Times Best Sellers list for the second week in a row since it’s release.
