The nominees for this year’s BRIT Awards have been announced.

Jay-Z and Kanye West are running up against Lady Antebellum, Fleet Foxes, Foo Fighters and Maroon 5.

Aloe Blacc is up against Bon Iver, Bruno Mars, David Guetta and Ryan Adams for the International Male Soloist category.

Beyonce is being acknowledged for the International Female Soloist award alongside Bjork, Feist, Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Nicki Minaj is in the running for the International Breakthrough Act category against Bon Iver, Aloe Blacc, Foster The People and Lana Del Rey.

The 2012 BRIT Awards will take place at London, England’s 02 Arena on February 21.
