As Def Sounds reported earlier this month, Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta for possession of a gun, marijuana and allegedly threatening police. Now, due to the recent arrest, Gucci has been sentenced to another stint in prison.

As the result of a probation violation for the recent arrest, which Gucci Mane was officially charged with firearm possession by a convicted felon, disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon and marijuana possession, the Atlanta rapper will spend the next 6-months behind bars.

Gucci’s most recent charges, and now prison sentence, stemmed from an incident in which one of the rapper’s friends called police for help as rapper was acting erratically.

Following the arrest, Gucci Mane addressed his erratic behavior from a jail cell, and he said it was due to a long time addiction to lean, which he was going to check into rehab for, but it looks like that will be on hold for at-least 6-months as a result of his sentence.
