The first-week sales total for Drake’s Nothing Was The Same, which hit stores last week on September 24th is in, and as expected, the Toronto rapper finds himself in the #1 spot on the Billboard charts.

According to Hits Daily Double, Drake will land in the top spot on Billboard as his new album Nothing Was The Same moved 658,179 copies in the first sales week, which is slightly less than early predictions of 675-725k opening week sales.

With Nothing Was The Same debuting at #1, this gives Drake his third chart topping album. (Drake’s first studio album, Thank Me Later, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in 2010, and his sophomore effort, Take Care, topped the 200 chart in 2011.)
