As previously reported, both Drake and Chris Brown avoided criminal charges over last years brawl at NYC’s W.i.P. nightclub as authorities could not move forward with charges against either party, because surveillance video in the club the night of the incident was too dark and blurry that the blame couldn’t be placed on either of the two men. Although no charges were filed, the drama between Drake and Chris Brown isn’t over yet as the two are suing each other over the nightclub altercation.
According to TMZ, Drake and Chris Brown have filed suit against each other, placing blame on the other while denying any responsibility for the nightclub fiasco.
The lawsuits filed by Drake and Chris Brown come after French model, Romain Julien filed a suit against Drake, Brown and the W.i.P. club for the injuries he suffered during the melee, and each of the artists claim they were not responsible for the fight and want the other to pay any damages in case that Julien wins his lawsuit.
On top of Drake and Brown suing each other, the W.i.P. club’s owners have filed a lawsuit against the two artists, alleging that both Drake and Brown ordered their security personnel, bodyguards, and entourages to join the fight, which in turn, spun things out of control and a violent brawl ensued.
