After many rumors and speculations, the bidding war is over and up and coming rapper out of Chicago, Chief Keef has officially signed to Interscope.

Last night before he took the stage with T.I. and Young Jeezy in Atl, MTV RapFix caught up with the GBE rep… and he broke the news:

Chief Keef told RapFix about the new deal and adds that he signed a publishing deal with Dr. Dre as well:

“I’ve been talkin’ to a lot of labels, but I just noticed that Interscope got people like 50, Eminem, and I just got a publishing deal with Dr. Dre”

He adds:

“They was talkin’ good to me.”   he said of Interscope: “They was talkin’ like I was talkin’ and I liked that. All these other labels, I was talkin’ to ’em, but it’s time anyway for me and I’m goin’ with Interscope.”

Over the past few months, Keef was recruited by many labels including YMCMB, Grand Hustle, CTE, Def Jam, Bad Boy and others.

Chicago Hip Hop blog, Fake Shore Drive just came though with more details of the deal as they report that Chief Keef also got a deal for his GBE imprint, a movie deal, and will get his own headphone line, so it looks like there is no publishing deal with Dre, it’s a headphone deal.

Details of the others deals are as follows… For his GBE (Glory Boyz Ent) label — will be headed up by Keef, his manager Dro and his cousin Fredo Santana. This will most likely make Chief Keef the youngest label owner in all of music at the age of 16.

Details of Keef’s movie deal are as follows… The deal is a multi-movie deal through Interscope’s motion picture division, and the first movie is already in the works.

The details of the headphone deal are… Chief Keef will be releasing his own line of Beats, which will be called “Beats By Keef.”
