As Def Sounds previously reported, early Sunday morning, during a CIAA after-party in Charlotte, NC hosted by Diddy, Future and Fabolous, shots rang out, and two-people were subsequently shot, and injured. Now, Diddy is making headlines again today after shots were fired inside a Georgia nightclub during the Diddy hosted album release party for Rick Ross.

As reported by the AJC, authorities are investigating a shooting at Atlanta’s Velvet Room nightclub, that happened during Rick Ross’ album release party, which was hosted by Diddy, who serves as executive producer of Ross’ new album, Mastermind.

According to Dekalb police, via MFA, Atlanta Hot 107.9 radio personality, Ronald “Beestroh” Robinson, was shot by DeKalb County police after he allegedly fired a shot at officers.

The police state, the shooting happened at around 4 a.m. after a dispute between Robinson who was working as a DJ at the party and another man in the club’s back parking lot.

According to DeKalb Public Safety Director Cedric Alexander, when the officers responded to the rear of the club…

“one subject turned toward them, firing shots. They returned fire, hitting the subject in the leg.”

Alexander adds:

“For whatever unknown reasons, it appears that this DJ who was involved in the shooting with some others turned and shot at the officers, and that’s when they returned fire.”

The DJ, Ronald “Beestroh” Robinson faces two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer.

Although Diddy and Ross were present, reports claim they most likely had nothing to do with the shooting.
