In a recent interview with, 50 Cent’s manager Chris Lighty said 50’s upcoming fifth studio album Black Magic is “sounding great.”

“We’re rolling out the marketing partners and everything now,. Once we put the stake in the ground on a date, we’re gonna try and stick to it so we can use our marketing dollars around that date.”

According to Lighty,Black Magic will hit stores some time this Fall.

Last year, 50 told Tim Westwood that he’s been listing to all kinds of music while working on Black Magic and is hoping to present fans with a new lyrical style:

“I’ve got a joint that I did that was real uptemp. It’s still 50 Cent … I just want to create something that’s out of the box, that ain’t [my] same style of music or same kinds of music. I’m using different song formats…it’s still hip-hop music, it’s still 50 Cent content, it’s just written in a different way “

Producers already confirmed for the album are Swizz Beatz, The Cataracs, Boi-1da, and Alex Da Kid, with Kanye West also rumored for one of the tracks.
