50 Cent recently launched his Street King product with a goal of feeding 1 billion African children, and since it’s launch he is well on his way to meeting that goal, as he has already fed 2.5 million people since it’s official launch 2 weeks ago. Fif also has announced that he new LP is finalized.

50 Cent recently called in his G-Unit Radio show on Shade 45 and spoke on his Street King venture:

When asked how many people he has fed so far, he says:

“2.5 million.”

Fif explains:

“Every time they purchase SK [energy drink], a child is being fed. I went to Africa. When you see it up close, it’s a whole different thing from when you see it in commercials. You’ll be affected by it. If just one percent of business was given to charitable organizations, we would alleviate all of extreme poverty around the world,”

50 adds:

“You can see I’m growing in different areas. I’ve been exposed to different things. I’ve traveled. I’ve been able to interact with people of different ethnic backgrounds. It’s given me a different insight and perspective on different things.”

As the interview continued, 50 Cent talks about his new album, and says that it is completed:

“I’m actually, I feel like I’m done with the album. I’m going through the mixing process. It may change, a couple songs may not sound as good to me once they’re all the way mixed and I’ll feel like I have to replace it with something. Music, to me, it marks time. A classic is timing. I haven’t made a song that wasn’t up to standard, when you listen to, you say, ‘This is garbage.’ You just have to be in the mood for it, maybe. The timing might’ve been bad during the release for some of the actual songs but it’s not necessarily a record that you’re saying, ‘I can’t listen to this. What is this? Turn it off.'”
