As it was reported in early July, 50 Cent was charged with domestic violence and vandalism after the rapper allegedly kicked his second child’s mother and destroyed property in her Los Angeles condo.
As reported by the NYDailyNews, 50 Cent is scheduled to be arraigned today, and could face up to five years in prison and heavy fines if convicted on domestic violence and vandalism charges.
The rapper’s ex-girlfriend claims that they got into an argument at her Toluca Lake condo on June 23rd, and 50 began destroying her property.
50’s ex Daphne Joy alleges that she became very scared and claims to have locked herself in a bedroom causing the rapper to kick her door down and then kicked her causing injury.
According to police reports, there was roughly $7,100 in damages done to Joy’s condo home.
Update: 50 Cent Ordered To Turn His Guns In, Protective Order Placed On Him.
As it was noted early, 50 Cent was to appear in court today for his arraignment and could face up to five years in prison and heavy fines if convicted on domestic violence and vandalism charges.
Now, 50 had his day in court and it didn’t fare well for the rapper as he was ordered to turn in his guns, and the judge placed an order of protection on him.
As reported by TMZ, the judge in 50’s domestic violence case put an protective order on him, which prohibits the rapper from possessing any guns, and also prohibits him from contacting his ex Daphne Joy in any way, and can’t come within 100 yards of her.
To add, 50 Cent pleaded not guilty on all charges against him.
