Earlier in the week, 50 Cent released the video for his new Street King Immortal single, “Major Distribution,” and had the internet talking when just about a minute into the video an MMG chain made an appearance. The chain of his rival’s camps branding brought up much speculation of it being Gunplay’s chain, which 50 previously appeared wearing in a clip filmed while bowling. Now, Fif explains where the MMG chain in the “Major Distribution” video came from.

During a recent interview with MTV, 50 Cent addressed the MMG chain making an appearance in his “Major Distribution” video.

50 explained:

It came from a jeweler. Jewelers, they made it. Yeah, we got it and ended up putting it in the video. That’s what rappers do. Rappers put jewelry in videos.

He continued:

I thought it would be unexpected, like when you see A$AP with a Death Row hat on. It’s cool it’s interesting. You look and say, ‘Wait, something is out of place.’

He went on to address “rumors” of it being Gunplay’s chain that was “lost” during the altercation with 50’s associates at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards. :

Rumors today, you can’t believe everything you hear on the Internet. It’s crazy.
