As it was reported late last week, 50 Cent was charged with domestic violence and vandalism after the rapper allegedly kicked his second child’s mother, Daphne Joy, and destroyed property in her Los Angeles condo. Now, over the 4th of July weekend, 50 denied all allegations made against him.
50 Cent’s lawyer released a statement on the rapper’s behalf denying the allegations:
Curtis Jackson denies these allegations as made against him. It is important to note, Mr. Jackson has not been arrested and there is no warrant outstanding for his arrest. We have been in contact with the LA City Attorney’s Office and are currently conducting our own investigation into these allegations. Out of respect for the legal process, we will not be commenting any further at this time.
Also over the 4th of July weekend, 50 took to Twitter and jokingly addressed the allegations.
