C. What's the point of rap beef these days? Back in the '80s, rap beef meant that your career would end if you lost, i.e. LL Cool J vs. Kool Moe Dee. In the '90s, rap beef meant that ENTIRE coasts hated each other and lives were lost. Not to brag, but we all know it's true, i.e. Tupac vs. Notorious B.I.G. In the '00s, rap beef means, in my opinion, simply entertainment and maybe a sales boost.

For example, Nas' Ether DEBACLED Jay-Z's Takeover but nobody really paid a penalty. Jay's career is still going regularly, and for those of the MINUTE (sorry to insult intelligence, but for the GED's and 11 year olds, it's pronounced mi-noot) MINORITY who believed Jay won (wow), Nas' career is still going regularly. Jadakiss and Beanie went at it back in '00. I personally thought it was a tie, both of them said some hilariously funny stuff; neither career was really affected.

C. He kept it 100 his entire HIP-HOP CAREER. He's 7 albums in and STILL doin' his thing. How many artists can you name that are SEVEN albums in and STILL GOING? 50 is definitely not on the list. AZ has a CORE of loyal subjects who will always go out and cop his shit on the independent tip.
