This is NOT an answer or challenge to the previous blog on why a particular woman does not date rappers, however, there were some points made that I felt needed to be addressed......Ok, maybe it is an answer , but so what?

#1. The "I Know That Type Already" Chick

Is it me or does it sound like someone has been played by a rapper? I sense SCS. That is what is medically known as Side Chick Syndrome. There's only one reason you would have for singling out an entire group and that is........that particular group has affected you in someway. In this instance, that group is "rappers". I think there is a lot of confusion in that area for woman. More often than not, "rappers" have loving families and healthy relationships with their wives. Of course you have the young dudes who play the field, have fun and enjoy the single life, but don't be mad at them. Let them enjoy it.....they don't really want to date a chick like you either, trust me. When they get older and want to settle down with a chick, they can choose to do that. The fact remains though, as Kanye West so eloquently put it,"There's a thousand you's, theres only one of me". Once you realize that you are not "#1" or the ONLY one for that matter, you will feel much better about the whole thing and then you can choose to move on or not. I don't see the situation as complicated as one might think. In fact, I can break it down with a simple equation.

You(nobody famous) + Rapper ( somebody famous) = Probably Won't Work Out Anyways

The attitude you have regarding this will make ALL your relationships suffer, let alone one with a rapper who is confident and secure in his ways.

#2. Cocky Vs. Confident

Since when is being confident about yourself considered having a "massive ego"? As an MC myself, I HAVE to be confident in what I do. People who lack confidence can be seen through rather easily and you can see the insecurity from miles away. Name one profession, occupation or hobby that you DON'T have to be confident in. As a man, and this applies to woman as well, you must be confident in the majority of things you do or you will be second guessing every decision in your life. That doesn't mean I think I'm the best, but I must believe in myself and if that makes YOU feel insecure, than the issue seems to be within yourself, not the other way around. This does not mean I have zero insecurities either. We all do. Most of us just ACT like we don't. But you'd be stupid to think all of us think otherwise.

#3. Politics , Cheesecake and Nutritional Values Of Fruit

Something is wrong with that. Politics? Ok, I can see that. I've interviewed many people in my life, and been interviewed as well, but I have NEVER been questioned on anything concerning cheesecake and fruit. It seems to me that if topics like these come up, I'm either (a) related to you, (b) in a relationship with you or (c) finding out that someone's got a little too much sugar in their tank. I don't believe these are normal techniques or information obtaining tactics that are used in the hip-hop world. Maybe teenage girls want to know what kind of berries Justin Timberlake eats, but I could give a fuck if Jay-Z likes peaches on his cheesecake.

#4. Relationship Advice?

With all due respect, I am hesitant to take advice on relationships from a woman who has obviously been into way too many encounters with"rappers". It's like this age old question......Why does your girl's friend (who is single, unhappy and broke), ALWAYS have the best advice for your girl? I'm thinking that if she was that fuckin smart, her ass wouldnt be single, unhappy and broke.

Also, the whole mother and child thing does not, and will never, apply to anything remotely close to the average relationship between male and female. That's like saying you love your sister and brother like you love your dog Moo-Moo and your XBOX 360. I love a nice cold beer, but if it didn't taste good, I'd dump it out and get another one. It's that simple.

While it is true that just because you can spit a rhyme, it does not qualify you to be an MC, it also should be noted, that just because you can pen your thoughts on paper, it doesn't necessarily mean you are a writer, either.

And you DAMN right we wonderful human beings........that's why ya'll write articles about us!
