Defsounds

See the pic above?...Do you know what you're looking at?..probably not. That there is a color chart of how Defsounds works. Why you ask? Because a good portion of you are slower than the rest--which means, you tend to click on a rumor and proceed to post a comment such as "FUCK YOU DEFSOUNDS THIS IS BULLSHIT FUCK YOU OMG FUCK YOU I GET SO ANGRY!"

So I thought I'd take some time out and create a nice chart and explain how we work. Lets start at the very top:

Defsounds Blog (Light Red): Defsounds blogs are articles based on the opinion of the writer about whatever the hell the writer wants. These articles might contain factual information heavily mixed with opinion, or they just might be articles that didn't really fit anywhere else such as Cam Ron's rhyme book.

So when you post "Fuck this blog, this ain't news, defsounds sucks donkey dicks" in one of the blogs--well you're an idiot.

Latest Hip Hop News (Blue): These are---well, the latest headlines in hip hop deemed worthy of a discussion. These article contain nothing but reported factual (or believed to be factual) information.

Editorials (yellow): Editorials are a mix of facts and opinions created to spark deep thoughts and discussion. They represent theories and research conducted by the writer and approved by Defsounds. So for the tards going into the TI editorial screaming "FUCK YOU TI DIDN'T SNITCH" then you probably didn't even bother reading the report of the possibility he could have.

We also put interviews in editorials for no apparent reason. (boo hoo, sue us)

Singles (Green): ZOMG NEW MUSIC!..Stan's paradise, "First!" posters grave yard--and occasional place for heated debates about why Lil wayne wasn't featured on 4 of the 5 tracks posted that given day.

Latest Rumors (RED): You ever wondered why we put rumors all the way down there and don't even have it linked from the Navigation bar?--the answer being, we never wanted to be pigeonholed for posting rumors (unlike other sites, *cough*ahh, mto*cough*) We barely put focus on rumors and yet when we DO post a rumor, everyone's up in arms claiming its bullshit. Hey, douchebags, since when are rumors considered to be true off the bat?

A good example of this was the recent Lil Wayne rumor. Wayneheads threw a fit over it, saying we're making shit up--when we clearly posted who we received word from. Someone went even as far as saying we make shit up about artists we don't like, someone said we made it up because Lil Wayne said "Fuck Datpiff" and that we as Datpiff just wanted to start shit.

So, for the record, Datpiff and Defsounds are NOT the same site, and they are NOT maintained by the same people- - we are partner websites. We work together and thats it.

In other news: Anyways, right under rumors you have the pink zone--which is just cheesy celebrity news from another affiliated website. Wanna see Megan Fox naked? or a pissed off Toby Mcguire (spiderman)...then you follow those link--for entertainment purposes only, not for any real knowledge.

The areas in white are how we make money and keep the site running free of charge.

Is that clear, can we keep bullshit to the bullshit areas and the good debates to the good areas? Also, as I've said before--we don't have many rules here--just don't fucking spam. Someone mentioned that I shouldn't curse at you guys and be nicer seeing as you all are as much part of the site as I am, and to that I say--Banned!..What other hip hop site you know has a staff as interactive as ours.
