And even though I like lyrical rap more than any other kind of rap and hip hop music, I still feel Kanyes slow shit. But this album right here might turn out to be trash. For 2 reasons: 1. he says its going to be mostly pop sounding, not hip hop. That is like on a Justin Timberlake status. And 2. he is using mostly AUTO-TUNER....for the whole thing. I think I speak for most people when I say, put the auto-tuner to bed. I really dont think I could take a whole album of that shit on pop sounding tracks. Oh and did I mention...who mentions a whole different album coming out in a half a year or so when talking about this more recent album to drop? Thats what I saw when I read it but I may be rong. I'm really shocked at the general reaction to this album. I'm sure we all have experienced the death of a loved one before, and ,needless to say, we probably sought some form of expression or release of emotion. Just don't forgot that Kanye lost the most important woman in his life (His Momma), and the fact that he chooses to share his thoughts in the form of an album for the general public should be appreciated. I don't want to seem to didactic; however, it's upsetting that all the same people who proclaim the soul of hip hop has "souled" out should be excited for his new direction, not condemning it because its different.
