We're currently seeking motivated individuals interested in contributing to Defsounds an possibly other projects in the works. All positions are currently volunteer, but may lead to pay with our growth. News Writers

We're currently seeking writers to contribute to our daily news section. If you're a regular visitor then you already know we add as much news as we can within the hip hop range.

Prospects should be knowledgeable and aware of current events. They should also be willing to commit at least 15 minutes to writing daily.

Contributing Writers

Contributing Writers should be knowledgeable in the traditional sense but should also have the ability to think outside the box as they will be contributing Editorials & Blogs.They must be willing to take on assignments but are expected to run with their own ideas and thoughts.

Designers
We're currently seeking graphic designers to assist in the creation of promotional material--please folks remember, just because you can cut the background of a picture out in photoshop, does not mean you're a designer.

To All Artists, Artist Reps, Managers:

We receive tons of emails from artists and reps asking to be featured on the Spotlight. As you can see, we barely rotate whoever we've decided to promote, with that said. To be considered for the spotlight please try to meet the following guidelines:

1. A completed biography is required
2. Studio quality recordings
3. 2-3 tracks in mp3 format, don't just record one song and think thats it.
4. Must be available for a quick interview via phone, email, or instant messenger.
5. At least ONE good photo of yourself.

Finally, I noticed alot of you guys offered to "ghostwrite" blog posts and thinking about it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have guest bloggers--specially those who are regulars here. So if you're interested in being target practice for the rest of us, hit us up using the contact form. Just make sure you can write, spell, and use grammar better than Prodigy.
