Being able to predict a person or group's reaction to something is a skill that can take you very far in life. You can essentially tell the future if you know how someone will react to your actions--you can adjust accordingly.

What the fuck am I talking about, you say?..Well, while reading through the comments in the "Tupac named most overrated artist of all times" article I saw some of you hit the nail on the head.

It's all marketing.

You see, the majority of people--the majority of hip hop fans, are entirely too predictable. Think about it, it's pretty evident. In fact, here's the formula in a few easy steps:

[Popular Artist Name] is pretty god damn awful. His [name of skill], is horrific, he's definitely not [popular conception ]. In fact, [Popular artist from your coast], can smash him in a battle any day.

Alright, now lets apply the formula.

Jay-Z is pretty god damn awful. His flow is horrific, he's definitely not the best rapper alive. In fact, T.I. can smash him in a battle any day.

And now you wait for a JiggaJocker to come along. The thing to remember about stans is that whether it's a JiggaJocker, WayneHead, Nasshole,or a WassaluWuarrior, they always run in packs--so when one yells fire, you can expect them to come in a mass. They're like the the Locust in Gears Of War--they're dumb as shit, run in packs, and you can barely understand what the fuck they're saying when they're mad.

So what am I saying exactly?--What I'm saying is that when Blender decided to put Pac on top of that list, they had already predicted the reaction of the hip hop community and judging by the majority of comments, you all reacted accordingly.

Now I know alot of you are going to say, "Jokesta, you do the same shit with your blogs." Which is only half true, yes I know how you will react to what I say, but unless I'm posting a question as I did with Dr. Dre (seriously, I just wanted to know what the hype in your eyes was), I usually back up my opinion and will argue it out with anyone, which means _I_ will back up whatever I say.

As far as agreeing with the Blender list--I do but I don't. I think Pac as well as Biggie, are both drastically overrated. But to say Pac is the most overrated person in music ever is too much.
