I put this together last night, a compilation of most of the MJ samples in Hip Hop excluding vocal samples. IE. The Thriller samples found in "Public Enemy's 911 Is A Joke." Part 2 coming soon. Below you can find a reference map of MJ samples in music--there are a couple missing.

I remember when I was a toddler I used to Say my Jackson and try and moonwalk on the living room floor which at the time was carpet. I used to spin vinyls and play all of his tapes…sad to hear. I was hurt when I heard this news.

A true legend..I hope people remember the music, creativity, & sheer genius he was. His life was tragic from the standpoint of never living in the same “reality” as 99.9% of the rest of the world. Any indiscretions he may or may not have committed, people need to understand that his world was nothing like what the rest of us know. Will we ever see anyone this large again? Love him or hate him, no one EVER did it larger. I personally feel Marvin was better as a songwriter with the messages Marvin put in his music. But even the late great Marvin Gaye never tuched Mike’s iconic status in life or death. My prayer go out to his family and friends and all that knew him. He was pure genious at work, and seein how many people sampled his music, im not the only one that feel his genious.
