… Really?… If you think 808’s was pop then your so far off. It was more electronica. And the Quality music is what im comparing. And Pac “whyned” about love… Brendas baby, dear mama, and countless of other tracks… Almost every song actually… Love dosnt have to come from a female… I got love for my mama and if you dont got for yours then that explains alot.

2pac absolutely did not whine about women. “Brenda’s Got A Baby” isn’t about love. Its a story, an obversation, of young teens getting pregnant. “Dear Mama” is a dedication to his mother Afeni, not some hoe that left Pac.

Pac’s songs dedicated to women are songs like “All About You”, “How Do You Want It”, “Keep Ya Head Up”, “Rather Be Ya Nigga”, “Whats Ya Phone Number”. But even in these he isnt whinning about anything.

“Do For Love”, “Playa Cardz Right”, “Never Call You Bitch Again” these songs Pac was softer but again never whinning, not like Kanye or Drake thats for sure

Oh and sorry homie but Kanye isnt up there with Pac. yes,Kanye is dope – Great flow, word play, metaphors, ect. But does Pac have good wordplay, metaphors, flow? The answer is no. But thats not what it takes to be great. Pac is great because of his energy, his realness, his ability to express his emotions through spoken word. DMX is similar, and could/can still be regarded as highly as Pac was if he gets back on track and stays away from drugs.

Also, 2pac’s work ethic is unmatched, not even Weezy can beat him. Pac recorded hundreds of tracks before his death (which are still being released to this day – new pac album dropping in the coming year), all while shooting scenes in the 5 movies he appeared in, helping the Outlaws, fighting in court, and even writing his own screenplay.

Kanye is good, but a Pac he is not.

Granted KanYe shows more… emotion when it comes to songs about females but love is a bitch and it does provoke some bitch-ass-ness in nearly everyone. And if you tryin to front that you never got ur heartbroke then you just strait lieing, or a virgin. Or havent been with anyone worth while.

I will admit though I respect Ye for not selling out and speaking what he wants! He released “Jesus Walks” knowing it’d be controversial, went agaisnt the script and said “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” live on TV, and interupted Taylor Swift for what he believed in thus possibly blacklisting him from attending future award shows (or atleast sitting close to the stage)

Alot of rappers these days too pussy to do these things. Afraid to lose they sponsers. They’d rather follow the same blueprint of rap and do average numbers then doing something different and risk flopping.
