[Update] Guru's Surgery Successful

While many Hip Hop stars and fans held their breath and waited for more informantion DJ Premier revealed Guru would be having surgery yesterday (March 1st). This Tuesday morning (March 2nd) DJ Premier informed fans that the surgery was successful, even though he didn't specifically say what Guru's current condition was.

"good news: Guru surgery was successful, keep sending him love." Premier revealed via twitter.

An unnamed source told AllHipHop Guru is expected to make a full recovery.

"Guru is alive and recovering from his surgery. Doctors are expecting a full recovery luckily."

This is excellent news. Im tired of hearing about all of these rappers being arrested and countless of passing away. I pray that Guru does have that full recovery and possibly link up with DJ Premiere in the near future.

Glad to hear it. Just continue to keep Guru & his fam in your hearts & prayers till he pulls through. I have no doubt he’ll recover 100% he’s a strong minded dude whose been through a ton of shit.
