After having David Beckham appear on his new E! reality show, rapper Snoop Dogg is now teaming up with the star soccer player for a new footwear line.

The shoe line will be a line of house slippers with no plans to produce any type of other footwear.

According to the British newspaper "The Daily Mirror," Snoop sent the soccer star a pair as a present birthing the idea for the footwear line.

"I got David a pair of slippers as a present and he took a picture of him wearing them and sent it to me. I was like, 'They look cool,' Snoop exclaimed. "We are talking about making a slipper together. So when I stop rapping and he stops playing soccer, we can kick back and slip on a house shoe."

Snoop also mentioned Beckham's wife, Victoria Beckham's (aka Posh Spice) initial disapproval of Beckham's and Snoops relationship.

"Victoria's reaction came from the public bad boy persona he carries." Said Snoop.

"I met Victoria one time, at the Live 8 concert in 2005. She didn't like me much - - she didn't like my bad boy persona," he continued.

"All she knew was, 'Snoop Dogg's a bad guy. I don't want my husband dealing with him - he's going to rub off on my husband. But now she's seen my show, and I think I'm cool with her now that she knows I'm family orientated - - that I have a structure and a wife. Now she knows I'm a great person to rub off on her husband."
