remember on joebuddentv when this group was only a thought? now it is a harsh reality and bringing some of the best hip hop that you will ever hear

first off.. budden and royce been DOPE for those ten years, sometimes dope rappers just don’t get the shine they deserve with record sales etc., but they’re still 2 of the most respected MC’s ive known in the past decade.. for example look at AZ, imo top 5 dead or alive, and you could say he’s never had “buzz” in the public, no #1 album or song.. just doesnt work out for some ill Mc’s.. i personally think budden was one hit song away with def jam from blowing up, and jay let him go too early.. and if em had’ve backed royce more and maybe signed him to shady back when shady/aftermath/g-unit blew up in the early 2000’s, he’d have had alot more success, i mean, i like obie trice, but royce is a much better lyricist imo and obie went platinum just because of the backing of eminem and the push he gave him, and sometimes thats what it comes down to, who you’ve got backing you and how much drawing power they have to push your product.. I’m not saying they’re the best 4 rappers in the game right now, but they’re all damn near close, I can’t name many rappers as consistent that have constant good lyrical product, smooth flows, and never-though-of punchlines.. its just refreshing to see 4 great mc’s come together and push eachother, and any of them can get the nod for the best verse on any song, none of them constantly outshines the others, its like a friendly competition.. i think joell came out with the best on this song but royce took it for me on wack mc’s, crooked took it on onslaught, and budden took it on the move on remix.. this group is hip hop in its essense and if you look at the comments on all their songs, yours is the only hate comment i’ve seen

and with that said, this is a hip hop site and people here recognize true hip hop, and i don’t see anybody getting as much love and respect as slaughterhouse these days

i mean i like there music but all of these guy never made anything that you can say is dope music i mean you come out with mixtapes and underground videos but who in slaughterhouse besides royce and joe everybody else still trying to get off the ground even crooked i he was with deathrow and never came out and orttiz was with dre and what happen to that im not hatin but untell they put out some real shit that evrybody wants there overrated i come up in the time when you had wu-tang mobbdeep and bootcamp do your history befor you say that this dude are the best there just good thats all. wu-tang4ever! i love hiphop!

And how can I judge good music without listening to the song? It would be hypocritical…maybe one day they will impress me.
