The latest fracas stems from a recent interview in which Buck claims he has never seen a royalty check from G-Unit records for his work on Straight Outta Cashville, Buck The World, & Beg For Mercy.
"I'm still waiting on a royalty check, period. I've never seen a royalty check since I've been signed with G-Unit. So, hell yeah, I'll tell you one damn thing, the show money is that good. I've never in my career cashed a royalty check. How you like that?" Buck tells Yo Raps!.
In an attempt to do some major damage control, Buck's manager and former G-Unit Records president, Sha Money XL has released a statement claiming Buck was misquoted.
"There has been a new rumor going on that 50 Cent has not paid Young Buck any royalties.
I, as Buck's manager and as former president of G-Unit Records want to make clear that that rumor is false. Young Buck has cleared over 10 million [dollars] from working under 50's and my guidance.
I don't know if a writer waited two months from the interview to stir some new drama up or took his words wrong, but Buck is waving the G-Unit flag strong.
I also add that any talks of Buck signing to any other labels are false. People are playing on the divide and conquer card and that's not gonna work."

If y’all ask me duke is just informing use how he aint never have to worry about a royalty check, I mean if he says the show gwap is keeping his bank & pocketfat, why worry about the royalty money now,…but it looks like Buck is intestinally creating issues every damn month. I don’t think son is really happy in the UNIT any more…then again who the fuck knows. But one thing I know is, The return of the Body snatcher& the Elephant MixTapes are fire,…keep giving us Free music I’m tired of paying for washed up CD w/ ¾ of album fillers
