Ruff Ryders Entertainment have signed infamous battle circuit rapper Murda Mook. The New York native announced the signing via a video blog released late last week.

According to Mook, full details of the deal could not be disclosed, but says “the Ruff Ryders have the best set up in the world.”

“I’m taking it back to where it’s supposed to be. As far as the Double R movement, nigga been quiet for a little while, but they just found me,” says Mook.

Ruff Ryders Entertainment, most commonly known for acts such as DMX, Swizz Beats, Eve, and The Lox, pulled a similar move in the past after signing famed battle rapper Jin in 2002.

After failing to reach mainstream success due to long album delays and low sales, Jin decided to leave the label in 2005.

Swizz Beats Confirms Alicia Keys Relationship Rumors

In other news, rapper/producer Swizz Beats has finally confirmed rumors regarding his relationship with R&B songstress Alicia Keys.

Rumors of their relationship started circulating during Swizz's marriage to singer Mashonda. The two eventually separated and are currently going through a divorce.

Both Swizz and Keys have denounced the rumors until now. In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, Swizz admits being in love with Keys and says he did not want to talk about the relationship because what they have is so "precious."
