Reps Confirm New Eminem Album May Hit Stores 4th Quarter
by on September 19th, 2008
After much speculation, Interscope records have finally confirmed that a new Eminem album is in fact under way and may very well be in stores before the end of the year.
According to Billboard, a representative for Interscope says there is no official release date nor a first single, but confirms that an album may come before the year's end.
Eminem recently stopped by his Shade45 radio station for a rare interview in which he says he has been "bangin out tracks" for the new album.
"I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now - just banging out tracks," Eminem said. "The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."
The forthcoming LP may be one of the most important records of Eminem's career as it will be his return to music since 2004's Encore which although commercially successful, was found to be critically disappointing to many.

Nas’ UNTITLED: GOLD! ZH, ZH, ZHYEAAAAAAAAAAH! BILLBOARD CERTIFIED! I’m proud of my dude!
MAKE THAT MUSIC EM!
as for em….top 5 in the game, dead or alive….he mighta lost a little steam since ‘04 encore, but he gonna deliver that good shit..this album prolly gonna be his last, and i bet it’s gon be vicious.
Finally, the king is back. Bet anything he crush wayne first week numbers
BROOKLYN STAND UP…BEDSTY, NOSTRAND IS DA AVE COME HOLLA
Nas’ music is not necessarily the direction of the mainstream… I’m elated that he was still able to go Gold and get certified SOMETHING, in this snap and supermannin’ age of mainstream hip-hop.
When an artist who doesn’t conform to the tendencies of the industry is STILL able to certify, it means they have some type of clout and staying power within the industry. It’s not going to be a hit or two, and that’s it. It also means they have a loyal fanbase and, in Nas’ case, shows CONSISTENCY.
Usher’s, who went MEGALOGOOFY Platinum his last time out (and we all LOVE OR HATE that album, lol, from hearing it blast out of every dorm room and female car for about a year straight), and he’s been out for FOUR months and isn’t Gold yet! So give Nas A LITTLE CREDIT! I copped 2 for my dude!!
Battle? I’m too weeded to speak to
The only key that I see to defeat you
would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you
and force feed you ‘em both, and on each feet is a cleat shoe
I lift you off your feet so fast with a roundhouse
you think I pulled the fuckin ground out from underneath you
I ain’t a fuckin G, I’m a cannibal
I ain’t tryin to shoot you,
I’m tryin to chop you into pieces and eat you
Wrap you in rope and plastic, stab you with broken glass
and have you with open gas just strapped to a soakin mattress
Coke and acid, black magic, cloaks and daggers
Fuck the planet, until it spins on a broken axis
I’m so bananas I’m showin up to your open casket
to fill it full of explosive gasses
and close it back with a lit match in it
while I sit back and just hope it catches
Blow you to fragments
Laugh, roll you and smoke the ashes
Slim Shady
when white people r the main people who buy albums…
Real Talk …that album could have been the best fuckin album ever and it wouldn’t go plat just by da content of the album
As for Em being released this year, that would be cool. Haven’t heard from the guy in awhile. He is hip hop’s “court jester,” someone with the ability to make you laugh with his crazy, over the top lyrics and videos. With the country being so tense do to thr recession and the election, it would be good to have Em drop some shit to get your mind off the bullshit, and get people laughing again. Hope the four year hiatus didn’t affect him too much, alot of shit has changed since 2004. Of course he will sell millions, but will the quality of music suffer? Will his new ish sound dated, fit in with what’s going on now, or will Dre bless him with production that will revolutionize? We will have to wait and see…
T.I. Paper Trail: 8 days away. Go support another legend next Tuesday. Oh yeah & he is still Tha King!!!!!
“I ain’t never heard nobody say they liked him in the hood…”
If you ask 10 Black hip hop heads, they rate Em either top 10 or not at all. If you ask 10 white hip hop heads, he’s usually the best. Nothing wrong with either view point. People simpliy like what they can identify with more.

slim shady gets killed off – shooting the audience then pistol’n himself in the mouth?
BUT that lyrical em will be back, get that depressed feel because of proofs passing. If anything this will have an eminem show feel to it

1. Canibus
2. Notorious B.I.G.
3. Nas
4. Big L
5. Cassidy
Did you forget Eminem absolutely destroyed Canibus? I mean ANNIHILATED him….several times….
I hate when people say that shit. I’m gonna upload the battles on my page.
Em just hd a much bigger following…so naturally everybody was on his side. Same shit with the LL beef.
They’re flow totally different anyways. I like both of em but everybody that knows me know that Bis is and has been my nig since like ’96!
That muthafucka spits hard as shit…and I mean that literally!!!! lol.
~Be Eazy!
so Wayne went plat, with chics and faggots……..whats your point?
Don’t be mad that Eminem shits all over your favorite rapper. All I hear is a bunch of bitches crying about his skin tone instead of talking about music and leaving race out of it.
Haters, name me 2 other current hip hop artists who have sold over 75 million records.
in a ression
Em can do it… a must cop
shit they can all relate. the rap audience has gotten use to seein exactly what the artist is talking bout whether its in there hood or on the news. thats why the south has took over. Look what happened to Wu, Canibus, rawkus records today its more about whether i can believe what u r sayin 2 me than ur lyrical prowess or creativity muthafuckahz dont wanna rewind shit like did u hear that no more they want it str8 the first time i callem lazy listeners Em hot tho ima buy it like all the others off the top of the Em the greatest freestyler everybody on dude list usues there written especially cassidy i heard all there shit on there albums or cameos
1)50-was on top of the world at this point.
2)Nas-reinvented himself with Stillmatic.
3Jay-Rebounded with the Black Album.
4)Em-Still a force but fell a spot or two with Encore
5)Cam’Ron-Dipset movement was in full effect. Followed up Come Home with me with Purple Haze.
2008…
1)Kanye-3 albums, 3 classics, 3 Grammy’s. Never been done.
2)Wayne- hate him or love him, hes on top of the world. Music quality is starting to suffer though…
3)tie-Jay&Nas-both remain relevant after dropping classic conceptual works.
4)T.I.-Consistency. Always comes correct.
5)tie-Lupe&Common-Surprised? Common’s last two albums were certified classics, & Lupe’s two conceptual’s are damn near close.
Don’t agree? Supply a valid arguement.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Ludacris
Game
Lupe
Common
But I like your thought process my nigga…1
sales do mean & prove somethin… but it DON’T make u the best
“Cube bein better than Em in any way shape form or fashion is str8 fuckin delusional”
Album for album, Cube has got Em. Concious wise, Cube has got Em(socially aware). Cube has made bonafide classic albums, recognized in any hip hop circle, and by any mag or website you can find. Em’s closest effort MMLP, falls short of Death Certificate, Kill at Will, and Amerrikkka’s most wanted and you will be hard pressed to find many cats tell you different unless they 1)love em, or 2)hate Cube or are too young to know any better. This is coming from someone who is from the East Coast, someone who doesen’t have an absolute favorite artist. I just see it for what it is. If you have anything else to say, post it elsewhere and we can continue the discussion, I’m fuckin’ with the Budden vs. Royce thing now
uno
em comes back harder then ever after the disappointing shit on encore….
murrrrders this album and comes back stronger than ever and bangs out another classic ass album to put up on the shelf next to the MMLP, SSLP, and eminem show……
and that dj premier track must be released at some point…eminem over premier is like something hip hop heads dream up that never happens….
a new ablum that will blow other motherfucker away
