Have you ever had a friend hyping up an artist to you so much so that just to get them to leave you the hell alone, you took a few minutes to listen? That's how I first came across Pittsburgh MC Wiz Khalifa.

Last week, Wiz dropped his highly anticipated mixtape 'Flight School' and has had the internet buzzing ever since.

The combination of great production, good lyrics, and good delivery makes this a classic mixtape, one you definitely want to add to your favorites on DatPiff (Plug).

Wiz has a universal appeal that can make this a mixtape you can listen to with your chick, with your parents, or with the boys on a blunt ride.

The diversity of the records is impressive, no two tracks sound alike. In an era of hip hop where we have separated the Hipsters from the Hardcore rappers, Wiz seems to be one of the few with the ability to please both crowds--specially with this project.

While it's still too early to peg Wiz as the next big thing in hip-hop, with more projects like 'Flight School,' he will most certainly be on his way.
