Platinum recording artist, Missy Misdemenour Elliot has a biopic movie coming out to talk about her rise to success and her troubled past.

The movie will touch on the early years when Missy, government name Melissa Arnette, was repeatedly sexually abused by her older cousin from the age of eight and also dealing with an abusive father. Missy refused to stay at any of her friend's house because she said she would return home to and find her mother dead.

Her rise to worldwide superstardom in the 90's puts Missy in a class of her own, being the only female rapper to have six platinum records, including the double platinum album, "Under Construction".

She recently talked to America's Elle Magazine about the project. "It's happening; I've just got to find a great writer because I wouldn't want my story watered down. I went through a lot, and I accomplished a lot, and I want people to know how it all went down."
