Who favorited?Mims Takes Home Ringtone Honor For Single

Mims is back in the news as the New York Rapper won the award for the Top Ringtone Honor for his single "This Is Why I'm Hot" at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards.
The song saw success when it came out, selling over a million copies through downloads and helping Mims to become a relavant force in the industry when his album "Music Is My Savior" was released.
His album went on to sell over 300,000 units, and several people hopped on the beat and made their own versions of the song.
Along with Mims super producer Timberland won the Songwriter of the year award, and Fabolous won best Rap song for "Make Me Better".
It was a big night for many artist, songs like “Make It Rain” by Fat Joe featuring Lil Wayne, “Shawty” by Plies with T-Pain, and “Throw Some D’s” by Rich Boy featuring Polow Da Don where also featured and honored at this awards show.
Along with Hip Hop, The Rhythm and Soul Music Awards also have honors for R&B and Gospel Music.
