Who favorited?Ludacris Gives Away 20 Free Cars

Atlanta rapper Ludacris had a bit of an "Oprah moment" last week after following through with his promise to give away 20 free cars to deserving fans.
The giveaway kicked off Luda's LudaDay Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. Local fans were invited to write in and tell Luda why they deserved the keys to a new Nissan vehicle.
Luda reportedly handpicked the 20 lucky winners after going through over 4,000 written responses sent via his Ludacris Foundation website.
Presenting the prizes to the stunned new car owners on Sunday, Ludacris revealed he was particularly touched by the tragic tale of Mading Duor.
Duor, a refugee from war-torn Sudan, told how he fled his homeland after his mother, father and five siblings were killed. He moved to the U.S. in 2003, but more tragedy struck when his son was fatally hit by a drunk driver in Atlanta.
Ludacris told the crowd, "His story touched my heart. He's endured so much in his life and he's still here standing. I'm very proud to have helped him."And Duor, who works in a school, still can't believe his luck: "I'm so happy that I'm nervous. When I look at my new car, I say to myself, 'Is this really happening?'"

It’s good that luda is helping out, but he’s making the people he rewarded dig in their pockets a little deep.
I wanna know how the single mother lady who rides the bus to her 2 jobs and school is gonna cope with the new cars’ fees, Jokesta didn’t post the whole story.
Apart from the free car, they also get free gas for 30 days.

@ Raiseup: They WROTE to him to get the car, so they must have WANTED it due to their situation.
@joty: When people think of a free car they don’t think of the taxes and all that that THEY are liable for. That’s why many people reject free cars in raffles and stuff like that. If they car barely afford to pay rent how are they gonna pay the taxes and higher insurance? It’s better to keep the bucket EVEN IF the $15K+ is paid off.
I know I would reject a free car if I couldn’t afford to pay all the fee’s I’d be responsible for.
And I’m not trying to be negative, It’s a great thing he’s going. But if the people who won can’t afford to pay all those fees then it’s worthless.
But I always figured that if you get a chance to get your car “pimped” on the show, you already got the disadvantage of being on TV, PLUS they put all that super-fly shit in your whip, It’s like your BOUND to get robbed….lol I’d sell that bitch too…lol
