Akon and Ludacris recently spoke to MTV News and gave their two-cents in about the whole Rick Ross situation going on. Akon, who was ALSO accused by thesmokinggun.com last April of being a phony, had some encouraging words for the Miami rapper. "It'll only affect Ross if Ross allows it to affect him," he said
last week in New York. "Had I gone
out and entertained the article, it would have blew the article out of
proportion. Wherever they got their facts or information from, let that
be what it is. You got your story out, thank you very much. I bow to it
and keep it moving. Now, if you wanna entertain it, then you're gonna
open up more worms you probably don't want opened up. So all Ross has
to do is keep focusing on his music."
Ludacris also gave his thoughts on the issue as well in saying,"I'll be honest with you, man, When I heard about it, I honestly thought to myself, 'Some of them correction officers are some of the most crooked individuals.' Whether he did that or not, it's all what you take from it."
Luda was basically insinuating that even if Ross WAS a CO, it doesn't mean he wasn't doing dirt.
"It's a lot of crooked cops out there. They manipulate the system," Luda added. "So I'm just being real. When I heard about it, either way — if he did it, if he didn't do it — it could still be crooked from it. That's what it all comes down to. So that's Ludacris' two cents on the whole Rick Ross situation. To be real with you, man, if that's how you want to manipulate the system, that's how you do it. ... You get in the system. There you have it."

I think everybody is missing the point. My man did 7 years in prison & whether Rick Ross was crooked or not, he was part of the judicial system that was responsible for keeping him locked down. His job was to keep the people he claims to support incarcerated. That’s phoney as fuck. I understand that correctional officers are neccesary. So are prisons & police officers but don’t claim to support a certain lifestyle when in actuality you held a position that was imperative to holding down the same people… Rick Ross is a fraud & anybody that supports him is suppoting fake hip-hop… How do you think the man whos name this fraud stole, the real Rick Ross, feels about correctional officers?
