Lil Wayne's Sentencing Postponed To March 2nd

Originally scheduled to report to prison today from a plea deal from his 2007 arrest, Wayne arrived to court shortly after 2 p.m with Birdman and Slim. Wayne sat quietly as his lawyer explained to the judge that the Manhattan District Attorney's Office was notified that Weezy was suffering from a cracked tooth and he would need to postpone his sentencing in order to get dental surgery.

According to his lawyer Stacey Richman, his surgery is set for February 12th. Wayne's defense team also stated he would need 7-10 days to recover. They also stated Wayne would be ready to go report to jail on February 25th but instead the Judge Charles H. Solomon set March 2nd as the official date.

Wayne was also informed he must return to Miami on Tuesday due to his surgery possibly being pushed back to the bad weather in New York.

"I don't want this to get pushed back anymore," Judge Solomon said. "This is the last adjournment."

Anyone think about how wayne will do since he prly wont be gettin any drugs unless he gets some slipped to him or gets like a prescription for xanax how he will be when he detox from the 500 drugs he takes? I mean he could be fucked up for awhile in there stomach problems, mentally, other physcial problems I mean or he could become a better and more fluent rapper because his thoughts will be more clear and he could stay on topic more but who knows.

Word has it that this album is going to tank. Expected to ship out about 150,000 copies in its first week this is a huge slip for Weezy. I have heard several theories as to why this is happening, everything from no label support to the fans just not feeling it.
