sure I’ll agree, in my opinion and alot of people on this site.. the album has alot of shitty music… that said.. drop the world is one of my favourite songs in a long time… plus seriosuly, people hate on wayne so much whenever he puts out bad music, but the guy just loves making music and nobody works harder. he’s just experimenting, because with the amount of rap music he makes its bound to get boring.. after watchin the carter documentary (youtube) you can gain a whole new respect for him (even though you notice he’s a complete syrup addict).. plus only about once a year does he ask you to spend 12 bucks on his music, the rest is free.. and in todays record sales.. 175k is more than average, especially for an album without a number 1 hit….everyone in the industry seems to respect weezy, because overall he just does it for the love of the music “love me or hate me, i swear it won’t make me or break me”

Lil Wayne cant play the guitar..it takes a talent that he just doesn’t have..

This exact album has been avail for download for 2 months for free some of the songs have been out for a while downloadable for free can you imagine how many copies have been downloaded and still outsells your favorite artist

People place too much importance on first week numbers. All first week numbers show is the buzz you have pretty much. That’s why 50 was able to go gold not too long after the first week.

Who cares if an artist goes platinum in a week?! If I was an artist I’d rather sell zero copies in my first week then make it multi than to go platinum the first week and barely go multi. It shows longevity, first week numbers have to much importance places on them.
