Who favorited?Lil Wayne's Hurricane Season Goes Straight To DVD; 10 New Videos Coming & Weezy's Going Away Party

Tomorrow is a big day filled with much anticipation for Lil Wayne, good and bad. The bad being the obvious upcoming year-long jail term, but Weezy fans can go pick up Hurricane Season, Weezy's first feature film.
Hurricane Season stars fellow Cash Money member Bow Wow, Forest Wittaker, Isaiah Washington and Taraji P. Henson. The film is based on a true story which follows rival high school basketball players from five different schools who later formed one team after the disaster of Katrina. The players are followed from before Katrina all the way to the state championship.
Financial troubles postponed the movie numerous times from going to theaters until it was finally decided to be sent straight-to-DVD.
Busy Weekend
Word is Weezy shot 10 videos this past weekend, 5 on Saturday & 5 on Sunday. Expect a slew of guest appearances from Sugar Shane, to a few NFL players.
"It was a whole mess of people. I didn't notice who was there, but I saw Shane because I'm a big fan. Then, you know, the whole Cash Money/ Young Money clique was there. A few NFL players were there. ¡Mayday! explained, who back Wayne up in the "On Fire" video, also shot a clip for "Get a Life." "It was crazy. [The video] was set up like a reality show. They followed us out of the tour bus, up the stairs and then we jumped on the stage and started playing. It was fun, man."

You obviously know nothing about New Orleans culture. We celebrate when times are hard and or funerals. We remember the good things instead of suffering. Normally there would be a Second Line but I doubt if that party is in New Orleans.
